Maybe ssh is running on a different IP address?

Do a netstat –an|grep IPADDR and ensure :22 appears, sshd.

Update: /etc/ssh/sshd_config (requires HP/root)

ListenAddress 0.0.0.0 – listen on all ip addresses

ListenAddress IPADDR – adds your vip to the list (you’d need to add this to all cluster nodes)
